Chair: Advocacy and Governance
We want to eradicate discrimination based on gender identity in Bristol - while championing equity and diversity. Here's how we're making it happen:
We organise and promote LGBTQ+ events. This includes an annual festival dedicated to celebrating trans diversity.
We're talking to the city’s decision makers about the unique challenges faced by transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and intersex individuals.
We provide information and advice to those who need it.
We're spreading awareness and educating people - from workshops to making art, and everything in between.
We're teaming up with organisations and institutions to offer guidance and raise awareness on critical trans issues.
