Trans Day of Remembrance arts and crafts

Join us for a relaxed session of textile arts and leave your mark on future Trans Pride Bristol events!

In this session, we’ll be collaborating to make a banner/flag for use at future Trans Pride Bristol events, with the aim of having it first displayed at our Trans Day of Remembrance vigil in November.

We’ll provide the fabric, crafting gear, and the space; all you need to bring is your creativity and your pride! Don't feel constrained if you have an idea of you own, feel free to bring crafting supplies or pre-prepared textiles.

This event is free to attend however, we do ask you to reserve a place to secure your spot. The event is split into 2 block of 1 hour and 30 minuets each, if you feel you idea will take the full time please procure tickets for both blocks. Tickets available soon.

Location

John James Room at Windmill Hill City Farm, Philip Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 4EA.

The nearest bus stop is Bedminster Parade, roughly a five minute walk away from Windmill Hill City Farm. The farm is a 10 minute walk from Bedminster station, and bike parking spaces are available on site. You are welcome to bring any scrap fabric or old clothes to be used in the banner, however, we do ask that they are clean and recently washed.

Accessibility information

The John James Room has step-free access and an ambulant unisex toilet is available onsite.

We encourage the wearing of masks to protect our immunocompromised friends.
