Letters of Love Workshop (Trans Day of Remembrance)

Spread some love this Trans Day of Remembrance and join us for ‘Letters of Love’, a warm, relaxed hour of trans love letter writing, crafting & chats.

Together we'll use a treasure trove of craft supplies to decorate cards and write platonic trans love letters to send a message of hope out to the trans community. At the end of the workshop, there will be the invitation to keep your trans love letter, send it to a trans person near and dear to your heart, or give it to someone in the space.

Any left over love letters will be shared with trans young people at FREEDOM & Proud 2 Be LGBT+ youth groups.

Expect a warm hour of crafting facilitated by artist Eli Lewis (they/them) with some gentle invitations to get creative. One way to channel love and care as resistance this Trans Day of Remembrance. The event will be free and we will display our memorial art work whilst providing a space to decompress with tea and other trans people.

Open to all trans people and allies whether you are attending the vigil or just coming for the quieter half of the day.

If you have access needs and would like to start a conversation about how the workshop can be adapted to support your engagement, please email elinorcatherinelewis@gmail.com
